Julie has been a volunteer with St John Ambulance for over 17 years. She has served in several roles, including frontline support. Currently she volunteers for Dacorum First Aid Network. In 2024 she was recognised for her contribution to Safeguarding by being made a Member of the Order of St John.

Julie will talk briefly about the history of St John and then go on to explore how the organisation operates now. She will then share her experiences of delivering first aid at local and national events such as the London Marathon, the Royal Wedding and the Pandemic response.
