Monthly Meetings

On the third Wednesday of every month, Redbourn u3a hold a monthly meeting in Redbourn Village Hall. These gatherings enable members (and guests) to have a cup of tea and a biscuit, and to meet other u3a members and friends before enjoying an entertaining and informative talk in the Main Hall, given by one of our excellent guest speakers. Prior to the talk you will be provided with information about upcoming events, outings, holidays etc and general news about what is going in our u3a group.

Come along and meet other members. Refreshments (coffee, tea, juice and bicuits) are free and served in the adjacent Centenary Room by our happy band of volunteer helpers known as RUGS (the Really Useful Group), and there will be information notice boards in the room giving details and photographs about our group activities.

The meetings are free for members, with guests welcome for a small charge of £2.50.

Doors to the Village Hall (in the High Street, Redbourn) open at 2.00 pm for a 2.25 pm start to the 'formal' proceedings. Talks normally begin at just after 2:30 pm. and will finish at between 3:45 and 4:00pm. Please ensure that you register your name at the Reception Table in the foyer, so that we have a record of numbers attending the meeting. You may then make your way to the Centenary Room for a cuppa and chat with friends, before taking your seat in the Main Hall for the afternoon talk.
